Context
Focus Factor is a US consumer supplement brand focused on cognitive health. Multi-year engagement on the focusfactor.com Shopify Plus storefront - design and frontend development across the homepage, product range, and the merchandising system the team ran day to day.
Brief
Improve brand pages, product education, and purchase paths across the storefront, and leave the team with templates and sections they could run themselves - campaign to campaign, without a dev turnaround for every update.
Work
Homepage and landing templates
Reorganised the homepage and landing templates around product hierarchy. Brand story near the top, clear paths into individual product ranges, and promo slots at fixed positions the team could rely on for campaign work.
Product pages
Rebuilt the product template around product education. Ingredient breakdowns, use cases, and comparison content sat close to price and add-to-cart on mobile, so the "what is this and why should I buy it" question got answered before the visitor had to scroll.
Promo and merchandising sections
Built reusable Shopify sections for merchandising and promo blocks. Campaigns shipped frequently, so these were configurable via the theme editor - swap images, copy, links, and badges - with no dev turnaround for routine updates.
Responsive behaviour
Reworked the responsive layout across the storefront, mobile-first, since that's where most of the traffic sat. Comfortable tap targets, tighter vertical rhythm, and consistent content order between breakpoints.
Outcome
The storefront ran on the templates and sections I designed and built. The team shipped campaign and merchandising updates through the theme editor without needing dev involvement. Multi-year engagement.
